What this blog is or isn't about

Greetings and welcome (again) to my blog!!

Within my blog you will find many things; my rants and my raves on whatever floats my boat at a given time. It may be a blurb on a headline that caught my
eye. Or, I may rant about some stupidity occurring in the world.

I support GLBT issues. Believe strongly in the separation of church and state. My religous beliefs fall in line with the Deistic point of view. I don't care about the BS surrounding the ~in God we trust~or ~one nation under god~ issues. Why? We live in a democracy; will of the people.

As for politics I do not like or trust the republican party. In my opinion they do not have the interests of the people in mind when considering domestic policy;
for 8 years the needs of the people were ignored. As for the democrats, they need to get off their asses, get their shit together and produce on the "promises"
that got them the majority.

President Obama, what can I say, Iike him. Is he effective? I think it is too early to tell; at least issues are being discussed after years of silence. A
welcomed change in my opinion.

My interests are varied. I love to read. Favorite authors include Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Clive Cussler. Some books that I have read and re-read:
Dune by Frank Herbert then continued by his son; pretty much anything by Isaac Asimov, the Foundation series being primary. Cooking is my passion, I am happiest when I can play in the kitchen exploring new foods and flavors. Music soothes my soul.

So who knows what you will find on the pages of this blog. Enjoy!!

P.S. I am currently trying to combine posts from 2 other blogs I kept that followed in the same vane as this one. Lost passwords and email addies no longer in use has made it impossible to access those old accounts altho I can still read the blogs. So, some of my posting will be really old articles tho still interesting IMHO. In other words I'll bore you to death with the ramblings of my bipolar brain.
