Altho I no longer consider myself to be a Christian I found the "news" reported in this article depressing. It is sad to see the the dogma and doctrine of my former church is getting in the way of social well being. It's almost pathetic.
BTW I was adopted through the Lutheran Service Society as an infant, so a part of me is still attached to them in an odd sort of way.
