As more details come to light in regards to this incident, my mind has returned to some thoughts that have been re-occurring recently,,,this to me is a perfect example of the US vs THEM mentality that is prevalent within monotheistic religions or belief systems,,,it inherently sets up and adversarial system,,,,good vs evil,,,

With these antagonistic elements built in to a belief system (whether political, religious, or cultural), it s no wonder this incident occurred,,,(whether Mr Bacile's "film" is a direct cause for the violence that erupted remains to be seen,,,, new reports are suggesting that this was a pre-planned attack looking for an opportunity; Bacile's "film" and the protests that followed presented that opportunity),,,this is why I am so adamant about church state separation,,,theocracies do not work, they create an atmosphere of hatred and intolerance or more bluntly ,,,my god is bigger than your god,,,sounds more like a pissing contest,,,
