Sorry, nothing to do with being gay,,,and personally it shouldn't even be classified (GID) as recent research is now showing structural differences within the brain of transgendered people,,,second, gender identity in children has more to do with sex-role stereotypes which are beliefs (ie. boys wear blue/girls wear pink,,,boys learn sports and cars/girls to sew and be happy homemaker),,,these alleged "norms" are influenced by family and friends, the mass-media, community and other socializing agents,,,since many cultures strongly disapprove of cross-gender behavior, it often results in significant problems for affected,,,
