Daily Kos: Police said to believe Boston bombs were placed in pressure cookers

Wrote this up earlier today,,,

Not to add any fuel to the fire of ramped speculation but the headline caught my eye,,,Daily Kos: Police said to believe Boston bombs were placed in pressure cookers

and this is why,,,notice the date of this article, 2011 and the type of IED,,,

The story began on Jan. 17, at the northeast corner of Washington Street and Main Avenue, on the route of the MLK Unity March in Spokane, Wash., 270 miles east of Seattle. Well before the march began, city public utilities workers found a Swiss Army brand backpack containing a remote-controlled explosive device under a bench on the route where thousands of people would soon walk past.

The backpack was sent to the FBI lab in Quantico, Va. The Spokane Spokesman-Review reported that the sophisticated bomb included a mix of shrapnel — bolts, nails and random small metal — and a remote detonator.
Other reports that it included a chemical commonly found in rat poison have been disputed.  http://thegrio.com/2011/02/03/spokane-still-searching-for-answers-on-mlk-parade-bomb/

Just to be clear I'm in no way trying to connect the 2 incidents, but have read on various "news" outlets that the IED used had a distinct middle eastern signature, which this article shows is not necessarily an accurate portrayal,,,
