There are none so enslaved as those who willingly place themselves into bondage. Most ex staff and Sea Org members will tell you that Scientology is slavery. Sea Org staff make fifty dollars or less a week for working eighty hours or more. Regular staff make a little more usually but they do not have room and board so must live communally. Minister Louis Farrakhan has announced that the Nation of Islam is now married to the Church of Scientology. He recently told his flock that no one may be a leader in the Nation unless and until they have attained the Scientology state of Clear. Dianetics states that a person's awareness is influenced by the stimulus-response of the reactive mind. Achieving the state of Clear means a person has overcome the reactive mind and is in complete control of their analytical mind. According to Hubbard: "A Clear is a being who no longer has his own reactive mind, and therefore suffers none of the ill effects the reactive mind can cause. The Clear has no engrams which, when restimulated, throw out the correctness of his computations by entering hidden and false data."
