A man who attended services at Owasso First Assembly of God in Oklahoma allegedly stole one of the church’s computers, and he might have gotten away with it if he hadn’t called technical support for assistance in removing the pornography filter.
KMRG reported that Troy Ridling confessed and was arrested on Tuesday for stealing a computer from the Oklahoma church, where he had been a member of the congregation.
The church had reported the theft over two weeks earlier, and police suspected an inside job because there were no signs of a break in.
The first big lead in the case came when Covenant Eyes, which provides tracking software to the church, called an employee to let them know that someone had been trying to access porn on the stolen computer. And Ridling had even called Covenant Eyes asking them to remove the filtering software so he could freely access pornographic websites, police said.

Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
