It appears that Lawrence Wollersheim was paying attention to L. Ron.Hubbard after all. At least in part. Mr. Wollersheim is the Director of Universe Spirit, which appears to be an online religion, of sorts. From the very beginning, in their mission statement it looks like a Scientology clone:
