“They were led by the Holy Spirit to seek a location in Mississippi,” Pastor Scott Thomas told Fox News. “92,000 cars a day travel along the Interstate 20 corridor. Those are people who need hope, who need inspiration.”
Evidently, the holy spirit did not see fit to lead them to a place where 110 foot buildings were generally allowed. Just by asking for a "special" variance they are creating a scenario to scream that they are being persecuted because of their religious beliefs.Seriously couldn't that money be spent on something more productive to society like maybe feeding the poor. Oh wait that would improve temporal lives and is secondary to the primary goal of the religion, which is dying with the proper beliefs.
BATTLE OVER CROSS Town Fight Pits Church Against Christian Officials
Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
