New York Post Columnist Calls Sandy Hook A ‘Little Convenient Massacre’
New York Post columnist and radio host Frederic Dicker called the Newtown massacre a “little convenient massacre” on his show Monday to describe his contempt for New York State legislation to contain gun violence.

“That was [Governor Andrew Cuomo's] anti-gun legislation, which he had promised not to do, but then he had a little convenient massacre that went on in Newtown, Connecticut, and all of a sudden there was an opportunity for him,” Dicker said.

Slammed by Newtown victims’ families and anti-gun violence groups, Dicker since said his sarcasm was aimed at New York’s 2013 SAFE Act gun legislation.
PLEDGE TO IMPEACH
A new website calling for the impeachment of Barack Hussein Obama and his inner circle, including Vice President Biden, has taken initial steps to launch.

The new site, PledgeToImpeach.com, is based on the premise that impeachment is the constitutional remedy for tyranny and dereliction by high public officials of the sort we've seen perpetrated repeatedly by Obama and his collaborators.

The site is also based on the necessity to organize a nationwide movement to stop these Constitution-destroying criminals before it's too late,,,
Marianne Williamson's spiritual path into political realm
Williamson has spent three decades offering a path to inner peace for those who seek it. Now she's entering an arena in which inner — and outer — peace seems in particularly short supply: She's challenging Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Beverly Hills) for the congressional seat he first won when Gerald Ford was president and the country was preparing to celebrate its bicentennial.

"This is a journey we're all taking together over the next few months," Williamson told the crowd of 200 or so who had shown up that night to volunteer for her campaign. In the cadence of a revival-meeting preacher, she talked of a corrupt system in which the two major parties and the corporations that fund them have "locked out" citizens and ignored some of the country's most pressing problems.

She rattled off a list of her concerns: child poverty, mass incarceration of blacks and Latinos, government spying, a growing gap between haves and have-nots, even the "corruption of our food supply" via genetic modification and high-fructose corn syrup.
Wisconsin school suspends black players because ’3-point’ signals ‘looked’ gang related
A Wisconsin school district said this week that it followed proper procedure when it suspended two African-American basketball players because they had made hand gestures that “looked like” gang signs.

On Jan. 1, the Sheboygan Falls News ran what they hoped would be a feel-good story about Jordan, Jamal and Juwaun Jackson moving to the district and playing basketball for Sheboygan Falls High School. The paper took several photos for the article, but decided to publish the “goofy” photo of the boys joking around in Falcons’ basketball uniforms.

But the school suspended two of the brothers after story ran in the sports section of the paper because parents suspected that the boys were making gang-related hand signs in the photo. The school even had the police department investigate.
Megyn Kelly advises McConnell: Stop fighting Obama in court and ‘try to impeach him!’
Fox News host Megyn Kelly on Monday advised Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) that he had several “meaningful options” for dealing for President Barack Obama, including impeachment.

Kelly pointed to a recent Supreme Court case and told McConnell that the president’s use of recess appointments was just “one example of many” of “presidential overreach.”

“And the question is whether beyond this case, what is perceived by some as presidential overreach, really can be resolved, in your view, by the courts,” she said.

When McConnell didn’t bring up the issue of impeachment himself, Kelly rephrased her question.
Does Target sell the most irresponsible homeopathic remedy ever?
I’ve said it before but it’s worth repeating: Homeopathy is an elaborate placebo system where the “remedies” are inert. It’s reckless endangerment of life to sell a product for treating the acute symptoms of asthma when there is no medication in the bottle, even if there is a caution on the front of the box. And it should be obvious, but placebo has no meaningful effects in the treatment of asthma. The sale of homeopathy in pharmacies is not only misleading to consumers, it is fundamentally unethical behavior from a health professional. Target and its pharmacists have a ethical and moral responsibility to pull this product off the shelf immediately. (Updated)
Michele Bachmann Tweets Out Ridiculous Response to Proposed Minnesota Anti-Bullying Bill
It’s a piece of legislation that expands on the pathetic 37 word policy Minnesota currently has which establishes no real set of guidelines for bullying that school districts must abide by.

Oh, I know what has set her off – it provides protections for gay and lesbian students. I swear, she’s a monster. Does her pettiness have no limits? She would oppose a bill that protects gay and lesbian students from being harassed in school? That’s what she means by “denying parental rights.” She wants parents to be able to teach their children that gay and lesbian students should be ridiculed and wants to protect their right to do that in school without fear of facing punishment for doing so.

It’s one thing to ignorantly attack adult homosexuals — that’s disgusting enough — but to oppose a bill that includes a provision that protects gay and lesbian children from being bullied is just reprehensible.
