Mike Huckabee links brain dead California girl to Nazi death camps, forced abortions
Fox News host Mike Huckabee on Saturday warned that a California girl who was declared brain dead after tonsil surgery last month could lead to situations like Nazi death camps and forced abortions in China if the hospital took her off life support.

The former Arkansas governor and ordained pastor began his Fox News show by admitting that he did not have the medical experience necessary to understand [I have to interject here: then keep your fucking mouth shut, talk to qualified people and learn something you freak. Death is not that hard to understand!] 13-year-old Jahi McMath’s condition but he encouraged her family to fight against any attempts to remove her from life support even though doctors said she technically “died several weeks ago.”

“Every life has value and worth,” Huckabee told his viewers on Saturday. “There is no such person who is disposable, one whose life has been deemed by others to be less than others and therefore expendable, I can’t share that.”
Girl declared brain dead moved from hospital
The 13-year-old California girl who was declared brain dead after a surgery is now in a facility where her family can take care of her, a place her uncle says that believes as much they do that she's alive.

A critical care team took Jahi McMath while she was attached to a ventilator but without a feeding tube on Sunday night from Children's Hospital Oakland, after a weekslong battle with the hospital over her care.
Her family wouldn't disclose where she had been taken. Her uncle, Omari Seeley, said Monday that she traveled by ground and that there were no complications in the transfer, suggesting Jahi may be in California
Liz Cheney Ends Wyoming Senate Bid, Citing Family Health Concerns
Liz Cheney, the 47-year-old daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, is dropping out of the Senate race in Wyoming because of serious health issues in her family.

“Serious health issues have recently arisen in our family, and under the circumstances, I have decided to discontinue my campaign. My children and their futures were the motivation for our campaign and their health and well-being will always be my overriding priority,” Cheney said in a statement this morning.

“As a mother and a patriot, I know that the work of defending freedom and protecting liberty must continue for each generation… Though this campaign stops today, my commitment to keep fighting with you and your families for the fundamental values that have made this nation and Wyoming great will never stop.
Pope Francis: Pedophile Priests Are “Monsters”
Pope Francis wasted no time kicking off the New Year by labeling priestly pedophiles as “little monsters” according to a just released report of a meeting held in November.

Sex abuse scandals have plagued the Catholic Church for decades (centuries?) and the lack of action on the part of church officials has been a source of anger across the world. Rather than immediately handing known pedophiles over to the police, the “little monsters” were simply shuffled off to a new city or even country. There, they would continue to abuse children. It has been suggested that one of the reasons the Catholic Church has so many degenerates in it is because it shields, even enables, predators.

Because of this, the reputation of the Church has been seriously damaged over the years and the Pope has taken great strides to repair it. Pope Francis has already shaken the comfortable world of the religious right by openly condemning the pursuit of wealth and the harassment of homosexuals. He’s also taken on financial corruption. If he is serious about fixing the Church’s sexual abuse problem and not just fixing its public relations problem, Pope Francis may go down in history as the man who restored the Church’s moral clarity. [Interjecting again, if they are getting morality from the Bible, is that even possible?]
Romney Accepts MSNBC Apology For Segment On Grandson Kieran
Mitt Romney on Sunday said he accepted MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry's apology for a controversial segment on her show poking fun at a Romney family photo including Romney's African-American adopted grandson, Kieran Romney. [Amy Carter and Chelsea Clinton, 'nough said. Oh, can we also say quiverfull.]
Are IRS Property Seizures The Stuff Of Reality TV?
Reality TV covers a lot of ground. Personally I am kind of fond of Pawn Stars and Storage Wars. It occurs to me that the tax world has not yet made its contribution to reality TV. You might be skeptical that the right kind of drama is there. Remember though that if you get far enough out of compliance, you can end up with an all expense paid vacation at Club Fed and look at the popularity of Orange Is The New Black.

So I would not rule out “Real Tax Convicts Of Club Fed”(RTCCF). There could be interviews with prominent proponents of alternate tax viewpoints, who count themselves as political prisoners. For example there is Irwin Schiff.

And don’t forget about Kent Hovind, Doctor Dino.
Rush Limbaugh to Oprah: If blacks are ‘so mistreated’ how did you ‘happen’?
Oprah Winfrey recently said that during President Barack Obama‘s tenure in the White House “there is a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he is African-American.”

She gave the example of GOP Congressman Joe Wilson shouting “You lie!” at the president during a Congressional address.

This remark didn’t sit well with one of the president’s (and her) harshest critics — conservative shock jock Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaugh blasted Oprah on his talk show for her reference to Wilson.
Planned Parenthood Board Member Says Abortion Is ‘A Sacred Gift,’ Claims Christianity Is Dying
In recent opinion columns, a Planned Parenthood board member has claimed that abortion is ‘a sacred gift,’ and that nonbelievers have ‘reasons to celebrate’ since Christianity is ‘in decline.’ [Two separate articles written 11 months apart, not Christianity but "Fundamentalism" or more like Dominionism. Hence the inclusion of Matt Barber's comments on the matter.]
Wallets to watch in 2014 races
Billionaires, super PACs and nonprofits are gearing up for another round of intraparty fighting that will shape the direction of their respective parties for years to come.
Kendrick Johnson: Family Still Seeks Answers to His Death 1 Year Later
It's been nearly a year since 17-year-old Kendrick Johnson was found dead, rolled up inside of a mat in the gym of his Georgia high school.

Investigators concluded that he died in a freak accident, falling head-first while reaching for a shoe and becoming trapped, the Associated Press reports. But almost a full day passed before his body was discovered on Jan. 11, 2013, inside the gym of Lowndes High School, a sprawling campus attended by 3,000 students near the Georgia-Florida state line, the AP says.

For some people, a ruling by investigators would close a case, but Kenneth and Jacquelyn Johnson, Kendrick's parents, have not stopped pushing to find out just what happened to their beloved son. They even hired Benjamin Crump, the Florida attorney who represented Trayvon Martin's family. They also obtained a court order to exhume their son's body and hired a private pathologist to perform a second autopsy. The second autopsy revealed that Kendrick’s organs were missing.
Gay Marriage Opponents Call For Uprising In Utah
The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association on Saturday organized a meeting in Highland, Utah to call for an uprising and to express their opposition to same-sex marriage in Utah, Fox 13 Now Salt Lake City reported.

"The people of Utah have rights, too, not just the homosexuals. The homosexuals are shoving their agenda down our throats," Former Graham County, Ariz., Sheriff Richard Mack said at the meeting. [Didn't see this type of "outrage" in regards to the polygamy ruling. So what's that telling you?]

A federal judge in December struck down Utah's ban on same-sex marriage, and courts subsequently denied the state's request for a temporary stay, which would keep counties from issuing marriage licenses to gay couples while the state appeals the ruling.
St. Cloud Diocese reveals names of priests accused of abusing children
The St. Cloud Diocese on Friday released the names of 33 priests who have been credibly accused of sexual misconduct with children, bringing to nearly 100 the total names of such priests revealed in the past month in Minnesota.

“It is my hope that the release of these names will provide validation to those victims who have been sexually abused and have already come forward,” St. Cloud Bishop Donald Kettler said in a statement released Friday afternoon.

“I pray it will also give strength to those who have remained silent and allow them to come forward,” he wrote.

The release of the list came one day after attorneys filed a lawsuit in Stearns County District Court on behalf of Robert Ethen of Sartell. The lawsuit says Ethen, then a child, was abused in the mid-1960s by the Rev. James A. Thoennes while attending St. Anthony’s parish in St. Cloud.
In Which Fox Suggests The Affordable Care Act Won't Insure Babies
Fox News suggested that new parents are unable to add their babies onto health care plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in order to stoke fears about the law, even though parents are able to add new dependents onto ACA plans by directly contacting their insurance provider. Fox called the process more difficult than going through labor.
