A pastor who once led churches in Missouri is now accused in a slew of sex crimes.
It's been 15 years since Richard Seaton was pastor at Leeton United Methodist Church in Leeton, MO, and 15 years since the first victim contacted police.
There were numerous complications getting him charged, but he is now accused of sexual crimes involving five girls from three families over a six-year period when he was pastor in Missouri.
Leeton is a small town with just more than 500 people. It's located about 20 miles from Warrensburg, where the charges were filed against Seaton on Friday.
The charges against him were a long-time coming, partly because he left for Louisiana after his first interview with police in 1999. KCTV5's affiliate in Shreveport, LA, got video Friday night of police transferring him to jail.

Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
