It is even affecting the children,,

Looks like I will be adding two more events to my ever growing list,,,

One question I keep asking myself every time incidents such as this occur: Why do we hate each other so much that we want to kill each other? It is even affecting the children,,,

Gov. Susana Martinez said Thursday the boy who was shot in the face and neck at a New Mexico middle school is heavily sedated and on a breathing machine, but his doctors are optimistic.
Martinez told reporters the student remained in critical condition at a Lubbock, Texas, hospital and doctors have repaired slight damage to his heart. She also said his face and head are covered in pockmarks from the shotgun pellets, and both of his eyes were injured.

Still, she said, the boy has improved. ‘‘The doctors feel good about him,’’ Martinez said.

The news came as students returned to Berrendo Middle School in Roswell two days after a seventh-grader there opened fire in a crowded gym, wounding the boy and a 13-year-old girl. A school staffer suffered minor injuries.
The second incident happened in Philadelphia,,,
A boy hanging out in a high school gym with fellow students on Friday afternoon shot and wounded two of them before fleeing and being captured near his home, police said.

The shooting happened at the Delaware Valley Charter High School in north Philadelphia around 3 p.m., authorities said.

Surveillance video shows a group of about seven students hanging around when the shooting happened, police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said. It was unclear if the shooting was accidental or intentional but it "doesn't look like an active shooter type of situation," he said.

A male student and a female student were shot, each in an arm, but it was unclear whether one or two shots were fired, Ramsey said.

The wounded students, believed to be 15 years old, were taken to a hospital near the school, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
