“Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."

It seems that birther extraordinaire, James David Manning is enjoying his yearly, fifteen of national fame. As you may recall, Manning, the head of ATLAH World Missionary Church, made headlines in February with his bizarre campaign against the gay community.

According to Manning, President Obama has unleashed gay demons upon the black male community "hoping to influence as many black males to subscribe to ideals of homosexual perverted LGBT as possible." This has led to the outing of Jason Collins and Michael Sam which in turn is "encouraging more black men to come out of the closet."
The white homo is now moving into the black neighborhoods, looking for black men that have been converted into homosexuality. Black woman let me say something to you: You will have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male, he’s usually got money, a white homo usually has an American Express card, he usually has an opportunity at the theatre, homos love the theatre, they love to go out to dinner parties, they love that kind of a thing. As a black woman you can’t compete not only with the financial strength of a white homo, black sister, this is devastating, black people need to rise up en masse and recognize the utter destruction that Obama is going in to destroy the black family with his homosexual statements and release of demons that he has done.

Manning also offers his praise for the presidents of Uganda, Nigeria and Gambia.

What is interesting to note in regards to this screed is pointed out by T. Steelman, writing for Addicting Info:
There is some argument about the “absent black father” stereotype. The Myth of the Missing Black Father by  Roberta L. Coles and Charles Green stresses that, while many black fathers are absent, that is only “one slice of the fatherhood pie.”
“The problem with “absence,” as is fairly well established now, is that it’s an ill-defined pejorative concept usually denoting non-residence with the child, and it is sometimes assumed in cases where there is no legal marriage to the mother. More importantly, absence connotes invisibility and non-involvement, which further investigation has proven to be exaggerated.”
Apparently Pastor Manning doesn’t read much beyond his bible. And certainly not scholarly reports that debunk his theories.
That was last month,,,

From Joe Jervis of Joe, My God,
Friday, March 14, 2014, "Pastor James Manning Strikes Again: "Jesus Would Stone Homos" Billboard Appears In Harlem"

Today Manning upped the Christian Love™ with the above sign.  According to Manning's YouTube [since deleted by YouTube] clip posted this morning, Christians who refuse to stone homosexuals to death are "advocating lawlessness." He goes on: "Stoning of the homos is now in order. Stoning is still the law." We'll stand by for Christian leaders to denounce Pastor Manning, but don't hold your breath - there was nothing but silence last month.
So is this the so-called "religious freedom" everyone is clamoring about?  Violence and hatred veiled behind the guise of the Bible.  I would hope not, but sadly too many seem to forget one simple passage from the same book this man gets his hate, "Love your neighbor as yourself."

And Mr. Manning, Jesus never stoned any one.  I don't know what Bible you are reading, but you may want to avoid the conservative one.
