Sumter Police say a midlands pastor is facing new sexual assault charges.
Investigators have charged 59 year-old Larry DuRant with two counts of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.
A spokesperson for the Sumter Police Department says a 16 year-old victim who attends Durant's church said she was assaulted during "private sessions of prayer."

DuRant is the pastor of Word International Ministries and has facilities in Sumter and in Bishopville.
Police say the Sumter pastor is already facing several charges for sexual assault.
Sumter Police arrested DuRant in June for sexually assaulting three female members of his church.
Sumter Deputy Chief of Police Alvin Holston said DuRant is charged with two counts of 2nd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor (between the age of 11-14 years old), and four counts of 3rd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
Holston said DuRant talked the girls into sex by using his position as a pastor and telling them the sex was part of a "healing process" and "private prayer."
