A man from Trinidad who claims he doesn't know how 7 pounds of cocaine got into the goat meat in his luggage is being held on drug-smuggling charges, authorities said Monday.
Yudistir Maharaj was stopped for a security inspection at Kennedy Airport on March 20 after he arrived on a flight from Port of Spain, according to a complaint filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.
Maharaj, 24, handed over a laptop computer and a black suitcase. Inside the suitcase were three packages of frozen goat meat. When the meat was X-rayed, inspectors noticed three square objects inside, according to the complaint.

Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
