A week ago, John Balyo, a Christian radio host based out of Grand Rapids, Mich., was arrested on extremely serious charges of child sex abuse — namely, that he’d paid a man to arrange sexual encounters with children as young as 11 years old.
Prosecutors said that Balyo, who worked for radio station WCSG for eight years, allegedly admitted that he was guilty of some of the charges against him. (WCSG immediately dropped Balyo upon learning of the allegations.) According to MLive, federal agents also found a storage unit rented in Balyo’s name, containing the following:

The “bondage” type items were discovered in a suitcase after a Friday, June 20, search of a Plainfield Township storage unit. Investigators also found a padlock, rubber gloves and children’s socks, authorities said…
Investigators also found folders with magazines and articles about missing children, as well as children’s obituaries, according to the homeland security source. The source confirmed that police found a publication, titled “Gauntlet,” that talked about erotic photography.

Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
