This is what happens when you are sick, you miss all the fun

I am almost scared to go visit crazy-land as I am afraid it may throw me into a relapse just when I am starting to feel human again.  But here goes,,,

Klingenschmitt: Gay Activists 'Want Your Soul'

No weekend is complete without the insane ramblings of digraced former Navy Chaplin Gordon "ChapMyLips" Klingenschmitt:
"They want your soul," Klingenschmitt said. "They won't be satisfied with your money. They don't really want the t-shirts. They want your soul. They want you to disobey God so that you go to Hell with them. It's not enough that they go to Hell for disobeying God, they want you to disobey God so that we all go to Hell. That's the Devil's goal in the end":
Author Wants Southern States To Secede Over Gay Rights, Name New Country 'Reagan'
While speaking yesterday with Janet Mefferd about his book, “The Secessionist States of America: The Blueprint for Creating a Traditional Values Country…Now,” MacKinnon called for a movement of states, starting with South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, to establish a new country that will adhere to the Religious Right’s political agenda.

Texas, MacKinnon explained, was not included in his secessionist blueprint because “there have been a number of incursions into Texas and other places from some of the folks in Mexico.”

He added that the South had “seceded legally” and “peacefully” during the Civil War, but greedy Northerners like President Lincoln “waged an illegal war that was in fact not declared against the South after the South basically did what we’re talking about in this book now in terms of peacefully, legally and constitutionally leaving the union.”
Top Birther Richard Mack Says Ted Cruz Is Ineligible To Be President
One prominent birther has at least decided to stay consistent. Richard Mack, a former Arizona sheriff who now heads the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association — a guild of officers who believe the county sheriff has the authority to defy and arrest federal officials — said in a recent Blog Talk Radio interview that he believes Cruz is ineligible for the presidency.

In response to a caller who argued that the Constitution bars the Canadian-born Cruz from being president, Mack said, “That is correct, I try to say that to a lot of people. Ted Cruz cannot run for president of the United States.”

“I like Ted, I’ve met him several times and he’s kind of a friend of mine, but he can’t run for president,” he continued.

Earlier this year, Cruz praised the efforts of Mack and his fellow anti-government protesters in their armed standoff against the federal government at Cliven Bundy’s ranch in Colorado.
Top VA GOP adviser unhinged on Facebook: Gay sex leaves men in diapers, ‘pooping their pants’

I saw this headline in passing but was too out of it to respond.  After reading, I still have no response for his type of thinking.
Steve Waters, an adviser to Republican congressional candidate Dave Brat in Virginia, argued this week that homosexuality was not “normal” because it caused cancer, and it would eventually force gay men to wear diapers by destroying their rectal muscles.

On Wednesday, blogger Benjamin Tribbett called out Waters for several anti-LGBT messages that he had written on Facebook earlier in the day.
,,,
“Anything I say is going to be regarded as ‘hate’ by you guys so I won’t even try,” he argued. “Like I said, you want to get screwed up the rear as a man, that’s your business, but don’t try and force society to have to accept it. There’s no precedent for your claim. Natural law buddies, have a good one.”
Although there is this: "Currently, homosexual behavior has been documented in over 450 different animal species worldwide. For instance, observations indicate that Humboldt, King, Gentoo, and Adélie penguins of the same sex engage in “mating rituals like entwining their necks and vocalizing to one another.” In addition, male giraffes have also been observed engaging in homosexual behavior by rubbing their necks against each others’ bodies while ignoring the females. Yet another example is lizards of the genus Teiidae, which can copulate with both male and female mates."

What a feckin dumb-ass!!

GOP Rep. Gives Profane Speech To High Schoolers On Bull Sex And Suicide
It's safe to say that students at a Wasilla, Alaska high school weren't expecting their congressman to talk to them about bull sex at an assembly Tuesday morning.

The Alaska Dispatch News reported that students and staff at Wasilla High School said U.S. Rep. Don Young (R-AK) "acted in a disrespectful and sometimes offensive manner to some students, used profanity and started talking about bull sex when confronted with a question about same-sex marriage" during his 60-minute appearance.

When one student asked Young why he thought same-sex marriage was so bad, the congressman responded: “You can’t have marriage with two men. What do you get with two bulls?” according to Wasilla Principal Amy Spargo.

Witnesses told the Dispatch News that Young's comments on suicide also stunned the assembly, as students and staff were mourning the loss of a Wasilla student who took his own life last week. Young mentioned alcohol and depression and said that suicide shows a lack of support from friends and family, according to the witnesses.
Rick Santorum: 'We're Losing' Because The Gay Community 'Effectively Silenced The Church'
“I really believe in this subject matter at hand with the gay community that a Judeo-Christian worldview cannot survive with a worldview that is as rabidly secular as this movement is,” Santorum said.
,,,
Santorum added that young people support gay rights simply because they have never heard any arguments to the contrary: “The arguments are being won among young people. We are losing in this particular area among young people not because we’re out there and competing, it’s because they have effectively silenced the church on a lot of those issues and young people don’t even know what the opposing view is on these issues.”
Michael Savage: GOP-Led Congress Should Arrest Obama
Michael Savage urged his listeners this week to support Republican congressional candidates in November in hopes that a GOP-controlled Congress will order the arrest of President Obama.

The right-wing talk radio host said on Tuesday that a potential executive action to defer deportation proceedings against some undocumented immigrants amounts to “criminal activity” that should trigger an attempt by Republicans to arrest the president “for usurping the Constitution and Congress.”
I don't know about y'all, but I have a hard time taking someone who says that God spoke to them during a lunar eclipse seriously.

Mark Creech 'Heartbroken' By 'Terrible Tragedy' And 'Atrocity' Of Marriage Equality In North Carolina
Mark Creech, director of the Christian Action League of North Carolina, wrote in the Christian Post yesterday that he was “heart-broken” (sic) by the federal court decision striking down North Carolina’s marriage equality ban, calling the decision “a terrible tragedy — an evil  — an injustice in our day.”

Creech took some comfort, however, from this month’s lunar eclipse, during which God told him that things will get better. “God makes all things beautiful in its appropriate time,” he writes, including “even death, war, killing, the escalation of wickedness, and yes, even the atrocity of legalizing same-sex marriage.”
