A former college football commentator Monday (3 August)
filed a religious discrimination lawsuit against Fox Sports who he
claims fired him over his anti-gay views.
‘Fox Sports fired Craig James because of his religious beliefs about marriage and his expression of those beliefs during a debate when James ran in the Texas Republican primary for United States Senator,’ the suit reads.
During that debate, the former New England Patriots running back said LGBTI people chose to be gay and would ‘have to answer to the Lord for their actions.’
‘We should not give benefits to those civil unions,’ he added.
