Austrian bishop says gay men could be ‘cured’ if they want to change | Gay Star News

This Luan fellow is a walking talking version of NARTH,,,
Laun said he had spoken to a Dutch doctor who spent a lot of time on the subject of homosexuality: ‘He estimated 40% of those affected [by homosexuality] could experience such a change, if they want it and actively participate.’

When asked what bothered him about LGBTI people, the bishop said that wasn’t the question and he was only concerned with the hard facts.

In the interview, the bishop also says he supports exorcisms ‘if the diagnosis is correct and the exorcism helps’.

Since his inauguration in 1995, the bishop has been warning people of the ‘homosexualization of society’; his 2001 book, ‘Homosexuality from a Catholic point of view’, claims lesbians and gay people live 20-30 years less because of their lifestyles.

He also claimed they had ‘no value for society’ and therefore don’t have the right to marriage; last year, he claimed LGBTI people were more likely to abuse children than their heterosexual counterparts.
