A Columbia pastor and funeral home owner was in jail Thursday, accused of hitting a woman in the head.

Anthony A. Dicks Sr., 59, allegedly argued with the woman Wednesday on Colonial Drive. The woman told police Dicks physically assaulted her.

Columbia police officers arrested Dicks on Thursday. He faces charges of third-degree domestic violence and resisting arrest.
