The passenger side door panels of Andrew Windham-Harris' Jeep Cherokee are clean of the anti-gay slur he says somebody spray-painted on Saturday night.
Windham-Harris, who is openly gay and married his partner earlier this month, believes whoever did it knew it was his car.

"Mine was the only car that was painted," Windham-Harris said, who said Haywood deputies working the investigation have been kind.

The Haywood County Sheriff's Office has an open investigation but would not comment if they have any active leads on the case. It took Windham-Harris two hours to remove the paint, but he also discovered the vandals had keyed the same slur into the door panels.
