In a hearing Friday morning, Ruben Bahena pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault of a child.
A judge sentenced him to serve 8 years in prison.
Bahena admitted to assaulting the child in Robstown in 2014, but it's not clear if the incident is connected to his work as a pastor.
