UPDATE::Bodies of 'hundreds' of children buried in mass grave w/ update

I'm confused,,, So no charges concerning the mass-grave but there are other charges.

UPDATE:: Nuns charged in Smyllum Park child abuse investigation
Police in Scotland have arrested and charged nuns and a number of other former staff in an investigation into alleged child abuse at a Catholic children’s home.

The nuns are among 12 people who have been charged by detectives investigating detailed allegations of systematic physical and sexual abuse of children over many decades at Smyllum Park in Lanark.

Police Scotland said another four former staff at the Catholic institution would be reported to the Crown Office, Scotland’s prosecution service, later on Thursday.

The force would not release any further details about the identities of those charged or the offences they face, pending final decisions by prosecutors.

The allegations of abuse at Smyllum Park, including unsubstantiated claims of “satanic” rituals at the home, have been at the centre of a long-running official public inquiry into child sexual abuse at children’s homes in Scotland.
UPDATE:: No Criminal Activity Surrounding Mass Grave at Scottish Orphanage
The Scottish prosecutors and police have exonerated the Daughters of Charity of criminal activity surrounding an unmarked mass grave of children at this time.

The discovery of a mass grave on the grounds of Smyllum Park Orphanage in Scotland sparked a media frenzy of allegations of wrongdoing and child abuse.

In a statement released Tuesday, the Scottish Crown Office said, "Based on the information currently available, there is no evidence to suggest a crime has been committed or that any deaths require to be investigated." They have assured the public that they are keeping a watchful eye on the situation and "any allegations of criminality will be thoroughly and sensitively investigated."
The children were all residents of a care home run by Catholic nuns.

At least 400 children are thought to be buried in a section of St Mary's Cemetery in Lanark.

The Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul, which ran the home, refused to comment on the findings.

The research by the File on 4 programme in conjunction with the Sunday Post newspaper focused on Smyllum Park Orphanage in Lanark.

It opened in 1864 and provided care for orphans or children from broken homes. It closed in 1981, having looked after 11,600 children.

A burial plot, containing the bodies of a number of children, was uncovered by two former residents of Smyllum in 2003.

Frank Docherty and Jim Kane discovered an overgrown, unmarked section of St Mary's Cemetery during their efforts to reveal physical abuse which they said many former residents had suffered.
