1] I am not only interested in child sex crimes but any crime (fraud, theft, corruption in general) that includes the church (used broadly to include all religions or cults) in some way; whether congregant or clergy.
2] I am only focusing on US based crimes and allegations; I may include an international case if attention to such warrants (ie. not getting much press in the US or it's really huge - international implications - like George Pell).
3] If it is "printed" I will re-post it. I will also post retractions, corrections, and the such if I am made aware. I am a one person show so I do miss things and welcome new information.
4] My focus is on active criminal cases. There are just too many civil cases to track and keep up with.
5] I will post updates as I can but primarily I am interested in the initial allegation(s) and final outcome. While legal maneuverings are sometimes fascinating, they can become overwhelming and quite often confusing.
6] I am well aware that these same issues that plague the church occur in the "secular" world. I am well aware that the occurrence of such is about the same rate of occurrence. My issue is that it shouldn't be happening at all within the church, especially churches that claim a higher moral ground.
