A sex cult leader who recruited women to his sect that strives to
search for ‘enlightenment’ through orgies and prostitution has been
arrested in Bulgaria and is facing extradition to Russia.
Sergey Kirienko’s case is reminiscent of recently convicted godman
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who was jailed for rape after two of the victims
came forward with their ordeal. Media reports said that Ram Rahim was
‘obsessed’ with sex, and there was a tunnel connecting his ‘cave’ to
those of the women’s living quarters. Women who were raped by the godman
used to say they had been given his ‘maafi’. Now it appears, we’ve
found his Russian counterpart.
The 41-year-old Kirienko is accused of forcing his followers to
participate in orgies in his sex-obsessed sect Kaula Dkharma, reported
the Daily Mail.
A former fitness coach, he is accused of even kidnapping the children
of his female disciples. While his wife Ksenia Khodyreva fled abroad,
sect founder Tatiana Severtseva is under house arrest following her
extradition from Sofia in Bulgaria.
