Former church employee arrested in Prattville for sex charges | AL.com

A former employee of a Prattville Church was arrested Friday for two sex charges, Prattville police said.

John Edgar Harris, 40, was taken into custody at his residence on Cooper Avenue in Prattville at noon. He was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and facilitating the travel of a child for an unlawful sex act. The U.S.

Harris states he is a minister on his personal website. Harris used to work for Glynwood Baptist Church until he voluntarily resigned on Sept. 3, church officials said.
