A Grand Rapids pastor who pleaded guilty in October to accosting a child for immoral purposes was sentenced Thursday to a 60-day jail stint.
,,,"This case is not a reflection of who I am. ... I am a good person," Diehl told the judge before sentencing.Once he is released from jail, Diehl will be placed on probation, which prohibits him from using any device that connects to the Internet.
David Robert Diehl, 40, of Kentwood, was to stand trial Monday, Oct. 9, facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted of child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.
He instead pleaded guilty to a four-year felony.
