A man who
sexually abused a 4-year-old girl at a church will spend the next 18 years in prison.
Terrence
Smalls, 27, had pleaded guilty to sexual abuse of a minor and was
sentenced Tuesday to 25 years with all but 18 years suspended. He will
be on five years of probation upon his release.
On Nov. 27, 2016, after service at the Church of Nativity in
Timonium, a 4-year-old girl told her mother that Smalls, a volunteer in
the daycare room of the church, had abused her in a bathroom during the
church service.
