UPDATE::  Former Marine colonel sentenced to prison for abusing children
The former commander of the Marine Corps’ Wounded Warrior Regiment was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in prison for abusing children.

Former Col. Todd Shane Tomko pleaded guilty the same day to three counts of misdemeanor assault and battery at the Virginia Beach Circuit Court in Virginia.
UPDATE::  Hearing for Quincy pastor accused of indecent liberties with child
Attorneys connected to an aggravated sexual battery case against a Quincy pastor and former U.S. Marine appeared in Virginia Beach court this month.

According to court records, Todd Shane Tomko, 55, faces trial in Virginia.

He's charged with aggravated sexual battery with a victim under the age of 13, aggravated sexual battery with a victim between 13 and 15 years of age, indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15, and cruelty/injuries to children.

Quincy police arrested Tomko in connection to those Virginia charges last November.

Quincy police have arrested a Quincy pastor for seven felony warrants out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

According to the Quincy Police Department, Todd Shane Tomko, 54, is accused of "indecent liberties with child."
He's listed as a pastor of Parkview Church on South 8th Street in Quincy.

Tomko was taken to the Adams County Jail.

The pastor served more than 30 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as Col. T. Shane “Rhino” Tomko.
