She will be reading the entire Quran with personal commentary from a Western Woman's perspective. What makes HW's take on the matter concerning the Quran important, it's not just a passing fancy for her and she has explored various issues concerning said Holy book. She actively debates these same issues honing her understanding.
While I am very biased in my POV (obviously), I am actually quite pleased with how our discussion went and I think gives a good flavor to what HW hope to accomplish. As she notes, as atheists who criticize religious ideologies it is important that we understand those ideologies and not just bash away for the sake of being contrarians.
