A Kansas City man well-known in the LGBT community was
gunned down when men jumped out of vehicle and shot him at a Midtown
street corner early Sunday morning.
Ta'Ron M. Carson, 24, had just left a dance club near 39th and Main about 3 a.m. before he was shot, friends said.
Police responded to a
call of shots fired and found Carson with multiple gunshot wounds,
police said. He was rushed to a hospital where he died.
