A former pastor at Normal’s Eastview Christian Church faces multiple
criminal charges for the alleged physical abuse of his infant daughter.
McLean County prosecutors have filed 11 charges in all against
Matthew Everly, 25, of Bloomington, including aggravated battery of a
child, aggravated domestic battery, and reckless conduct.
The child was only two weeks old when Everly allegedly broke both her
legs in March. The baby, now two months old, is back in her mother’s
care.
