A former youth group leader at a Rising Sun-area church is awaiting
extradition to Cecil County to face more than 100 sex offense counts in
five grand jury indictments connected to alleged incidents between 1987
and 2001.
Allen L. Price, 58, is being held in the Lancaster
County Detention Center following his arrest 6 a.m. Friday at his
Quarryville, Pa., home by Pennsylvania State Police, accompanied by
Maryland State Police investigators.
According to MSP, the
investigation into the allegations began in the summer of 2017 when
state police criminal investigators received information concerning the
suspect.
With
the assistance of the Cecil County Child Advocacy Center, the Cecil
County State’s Attorney’s Office and various allied law enforcement
agencies, victims were interviewed and evidence was collected.
