Pseudo-shrink Jerry Mungadze is at it again:

Remember Jerry Mungadze, the brain “expert” who appeared on Religious Right broadcasts and promised to turn gay people straight by using his coloring book therapy, in which he has clients color in a picture of a brain with crayons in order to identify a homosexual or demonic presence?

Well, Mungadze was featured this week on a British show called Undercover Doctor: Cure Me I’m Gay, in which he not only said that the thyroid and adrenal glands are found in the brain but also admitted that he is actually colorblind.

Gawker posted video of the session, in which Mungadze — who only has degrees in biblical studies and counseling education — was featured along with other ex-gay therapists.

Sigh,,,another Bob Larson in the making this one using pseudo-psychology, for lack of a better word. Wondering how he can justify the use of a projective type test (ie inkblots). I would be screwed going to this man as my favorite colors are black, navy blue and charcoal gray.

He took his “science” to televangelist Benny Hinn’s show This Is Your Day earlier this week, where he also revealed that he can tell if someone is possessed by demons if they choose darker colors on their brain map.

“Everything that I talk about is based on numbers, is based on studies, which is what you do when you’re a scientist,” he told Hinn, adding that “you can actually see demonization in people’s brains.”

“There’s a certain color that I won’t mention that tells me if someone is demonized,” Mungadze continued, until he ultimately revealed that dark colors such as black, brown and gray are proof of demonic possession.
