Can't implies that you lack the ability to do something. When it comes to being anxious about doing something, there is not an ability involved - there is a choice,,,[y]our job is to take a look at what you have said that you can't do and evaluate it - is it true that you can't do it, or is it that you won't do it. If you can't, then no one will ever be able to help you. If you won't, then that is a choice, and that can be addressed
Altho I personally do not have issues with anxiety per se, leaving my home can be an issue. I have what they term functioning agoraphobia, in other words I can leave my house to do necessary things like work, shop, appointments, and the like. But there are times when I do have to make myself leave,,,to go out and get some fresh air. It's then that I have to remind myself that I can do it, I have the ability.
