“One of the things that I, again, like to remind people is that multiple sclerosis has been my teacher,” she added. “It has been at times a cruel teacher, but it has also been a great gif
t to my life because what it has done, it has taught me to be more compassionate in caring for others that are suffering. And I know people are suffering right now. And for people to think that we don’t have empathy just because we’re not suffering like they’re suffering is ridiculous.”
Not to make light of her struggles with MS, but she has no clue what it is like having a chronic illness and then having to deal with the bullshit that everyday ordinary people do,,,lack of funds, unable to work, fighting with insurance companies, being denied health care because of an illness,,,that doesn't even include the toll it takes on family members that are the primary caregivers,,,one commenter put it best,,,
That being said.......even one of your millions would make MY life, the 24/7 caregiver amazingly easier - being able to afford qualified respite care for even a day, being able to buy a vehicle to transport an electric chair, being able to remodel for safety, being able to not worry about the 33% copay on $30K/yr meds (which he no longer takes), being able to hire the workers to do the yard/repairs/maintenance on the house, being able to afford health insurance for myself and get my teeth fixed - even being able to pamper myself just a tiny bit to ease the stress....and much more.
How can she say she can relate when you can write off $70,000 for a "therapy" horse that competes in the Olympics as a struggle,,,this woman has no clue and it galls me to no end to read of her "struggles" when I have friends fighting to save their homes,,,their marriages, their family life,,,
Talk to me when your down to ramen noodles and hotdogs you clueless bitch,,,
