A New Twist in the Sad Saga of Little Albert - Percolator - The Chronicle of Higher Education

Altho this does not directly relate to the subject of exit counseling, it does tie into the Hassan's discussion on "implanted" phobias. The John Watson "Little Albert Experiment" of the 1920's tho controversial (they failed to de-condition Albert after the experiment) highlights Watson hypothesis of children being blank slates and "therefore infinitely malleable." In other words they taught Albert to be afraid.

The article is more a criticism of the study itself from an ethical POV, with the results being brought into question (similar to the Stanford Prison Experiment done by Philip Zimbardo in 1971); Albert died at 6 from Hydro-encephalitis. It is interesting none-the-less.
