Charging documents, released by police on Wednesday, reveal more information about the moment a 28-year-old man drove a large truck through the front doors of the WMAR-TV building in Towson on Tuesday, and his statements to police afterward. 28-year-old Vladimir Baptiste was being held on a $750,000 bail on multiple charges including attempted murder; his bail has since been revoked. He is now being held without bail. According to police documents, once inside, Baptiste grabbed a fire extinguisher and sprayed it into the air, then ran onto the second floor carrying a "rigid" black bag. Responding units went to the second floor and waited for backup as the building was evacuated and a perimeter was set up around the exterior.

In the room officers found pieces of paper the suspect had taped onto the windows facing police and media outside. The papers read;
"I am God almighty!"
"I gave you everything you never earned it."
"F*** your multiverses! You have created to hurt my people!"
"I'm here to save you all from the energies!"
"You are in the wrong timeline!"
"Everything is unfolding I don't have to do anything! Love Vladimir (GOD)"
"Just wait! P****!" "Let me know when you are in the present"
After an emergency evaluation at GBMC, Baptiste was read his rights and voluntarily waived them. He then, according to charging documents, "stated he is a reincarnation of 'King Tut' and 'Jesus Christ' and lives in a world of 'multiverses' where bad things happen to people and they disappear because they are not real. Defendant Baptiste stated the 'Malaysian Flight 370' and the 'kidnapping of the Nigerian schoolgirls' were examples of the multiverses in that they never actually happened."
