INFORMATION WANTED::Police Release Video of Suspect in NYC Antigay Hate Crime | Advocate.com


The New York Police Department has released footage of the suspect in a possible antigay hate crime from last month, reports TV station WPIX.

Around 4 a.m. September 14, a 21-year-old male victim was walking with a friend on West 48th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues when a man shouted antigay slurs at the pair before punching the victim in the back of the head. The victim fell face first onto the sidewalk, and the suspect left the scene

The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, was treated for his injuries at the NYU Langone Medical Center, and later released.
