El Centro man to be arraigned Monday on child molestation charges  [Paywall]
El Centro resident and former pastor Mark Quinn Anderson, who is accused of engaging in and attempting to engage in lewd acts with a minor, is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Monday following his arrest Wednesday in the Los Angeles area by the U.S. Marshal’s Service.

On June 5, around 5:45 p.m., the Brawley Police Department received a call about a fourteen-year-old female, who resides in Brawley, receiving alleged inappropriate sexual communications from a 47-year-old male subject, Mark Anderson. Anderson, who resides in the City of El Centro and has ties to Riverside County, is the bishop of a church in El Centro where the fourteen-year-old alleged victim attends.

Detectives from the Brawley Police Department, along with investigators from Homeland Security Investigations initiated an investigation into the allegations. The investigation revealed information, which supported the allegations, and search warrants were obtained through the Imperial County
