Cameron Banks (a.k.a. Reggie Staggers) of Georgetown has been charged
in a seven-count federal indictment with health care fraud and an
alleged scheme to submit fraudulent loan applications for dental
services, according to a news release from United States Attorney Beth
Drake.
Banks was also arrested in May for intentionally burning down the Abundant Faith Lighthouse of Jesus Christ on 4th Avenue in Conway and was charged in March on multiple tax charges.
The
maximum penalty he could receive for each of the health care fraud
counts is 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000, the release
said.
Local pastor accused of burning down his church also indicted for health care fraud | WPDE
Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
