UPDATE:: Ex-N.J. pastor sentenced for randomly choking baby at WalmartA former church pastor from New Jersey has been found guilty of attacking a stranger’s baby at an Overland Park Wal-Mart.
The Kansas City Star reports 55-year-old Oleh Zhownirovych was sentenced Thursday to 11 months in prison and six months in the Johnson County Jail, to be served consecutively.
Zhownirovych pleaded no contest in December to felony aggravated battery and misdemeanor battery.
Oleh Zhownirovych pleaded no contest Thursday in Johnson County District Court to charges of aggravated battery and battery. Prosecutors dismissed another charge of aggravated kidnapping.
A judge accepted the no contest pleas and found Zhownirovych guilty.
