Phoenix mother accused of using Taser on son to wake him up for church - Story | KRIV

Phoenix mother is accused of using a Taser on her 17-year-old son in order to get him up for Easter church services.

According to court paperwork, 40-year-old Sharron Dobbins tased the teen on his leg so he would get up for church.

Dobbins says she only "sparked" the Taser to get him up for church and never actually tased him.

"I did not touch him at all with the taser," Dobbins told FOX 10's Matt Rodewald. "I made the sound with the taser."

Dobbins even gave a walkthrough of her Easter Sunday morning, when she was reportedly frustrated by her two teenage sons, one of whom talked back to her when told to send his friends home, so that the family could go to church.
