I have no qualms about doing such as some religious folk (Kevin Swanson, Steven Anderson and his NIFB cadre to name a few) of the Christian persuasion have no problem stating the government should execute me.
We have another group of so-called Christians who would force a 14-year old rape victims to have the rapist's baby.
Then there is the RCC and JWs who have actively supported and covered up the crimes of its clergy/religious leaders diddling children. It's not just an RCC issue or JW issue, it has effected every denomination.
We have a so-called spiritual leader, in Marianne Williamson who has promoted anti-vaxxer theories on her radio show "Living Miracuously,"

While the main focus is Maher, Williamson was all in on his bullshitteiy.
You see Jillian, criticism of ideology or belief is not demonization of the person holding the ideology. If your ideology can't withstand criticism, then it may not be an ideology one should hold nor defend. You are a quasi-public figure and need to be held accountable for what you write and say.
While I do not demonize science as a methodology, holding corporate figures and politicians accountable for their actions, is something I do as well. There is no excuse for not having universal healthcare. The is no excuse for the prices pharma charges for some very needed medication. There is no excuse for family and friends to plead on GoFundMe for money to cover medical expenses. (BTDT when I had my first stroke) That is not science though, but capitalism at its worst!
