A church youth minister who was convicted in the 1990s for sexual
assault was convicted again on Friday of having inappropriate sexual
contact with a teenage girl.
A jury found Shawn Butler,
of Hillsborough, guilty of criminal sexual contact and endangering the
welfare of a child, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey announced.
Butler, 52, worked as a youth minister at Eternal Life Christian
Center in Franklin Township and served on the church's executive board.

Welcome to H&C,,, where I aggregate news of interest. Primary topics include abuse with "the church", LGBTQI+ issues, cults - including anti-vaxxers, and the Dominionist and Theocratic movements. Also of concern is the anti-science movement with interest in those that promote garbage like homeopathy, chiropractic and the like. I am an atheist and anti-theist who believes religious mythos must be die and a strong supporter of SOCAS.
