A Dallas-area pastor and gospel singer has been arrested on multiple charges of child sex abuse.
Darrell Maurice Yancey, 59, of Grand Prairie was taken into custody
Thursday by Arlington police. He faces three counts of aggravated sexual
assault of a child and four counts of sexual assault of a child, as
well as a charge of driving with an invalid license.
Police did not release any information about the charges.
According to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained by WFAA-TV (Channel 8), the allegations date to the 1990s and 2000s.
