A Baldwin Park pastor has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, and the Baldwin Park Polcie Department is looking for additional victims.

Edgar Martinez, a 50-year-old pastor from the Iglesia De Jesuscristo un Neuvo Pacto congregation in Baldwin Park, was arrested on April 10 on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor, sending sexually explicit material to a minor and sexual assault.

“The arrest stems from a 2019 case involving a juvenile who was a member of Martinez’s congregation,” police said.
