So the other day, after news broke concerning approval of an Ebola vaccine, Jillian posted this.

It looks like they're going to use the herpes simplex 1 virus to be the carrier of the glycoprotein inhibitor to emulate the Ebola virus to induce antibodies. 

Now I would be lying if I stated I knew WTF she was talking about.  I did a bit of digging to satisfy my curiosity, I'm still scratching my head.  The long and short of it I can not confirm or deny this statement to my satisfaction.  IOWs nothing I have seen specifically states HSV-1 was used or not used. Jillian's source only states, ",,, that has been placed into a virus,,,."

What I do understand, it's best left to the experts.  Jillian is not an expert; and neither am I.  I'm not even going to attempt to speak to the science.

BUT,,, 

The above stated verbiage by Jillian (and what followed in her OP) is not my issue.  It is is this last statement.

Having weaknesses in the reproductive system and other areas and then being exposed to these vaccines could potentially trigger cancer down the road if you don't strengthen your body. Better to trigger cancer than to die from the Ebola virus. You have time

One bit of transparency before we begin.  I have HSV-1.  I have had it my entire life.  Most likely contracted from my bio mom at birth (I was adopted).  It's not pleasant when a flair occurs and it can at times cause outside issues such as losing time at work.  So I can well understand the fear some have concerning the virus; others, well, do not understand it and and think of it as any other sore.

And this is how I know Jillian is a fear monger.  This is how I know Jillian doesn't read and/or doesn't understand what she reads.  This is how I know she is full of shit.  This is how I know that taking ANY health advice from  her will kill you!

In her OP Jillian specifically notes HSV-1 as the carrier.   Here is tje result of a search by her,

Let's take a look-see,,, shall we.

The title alone should have been her first clue, Glycoprotein Targeted Therapeutics: A New Era of Anti-Herpes Simplex Virus-1 Therapeutics.  I have no fucking clue where, from this paper, she got that they were using HSV-1 in the Ebola vaccine.

IF she would have read even just the abstract, she would have discovered that this paper was discussing,

,,,the common therapeutics currently used against the fundamental stages of HSV-1 replication and fusion. The remainder of this article will focus on a new approach for HSV-1 infection control and management, the concept of glycoprotein-receptor targeting.

There is no mention of Ebola nor an Ebola vaccine,,, none!!

But it gets worse. Notice her second search, "what cancers come from herpes."  This is important,

She intentionally jumps from a specific virus, HSV-1, to a more generalized genus with 23 viruses among four groups.  Odds are, of those 23 viruses some may be linked to cancer. And just to be clear, I am very well aware of a correlation between HSV-1 and oral cancer. 

And it gets worse still, this is Jillian's source Herpes viruses and cancer.  Published in 1973.  It is an abstract only, which states, 

Type 2 herpes simplex virus belongs to the herpes virus group, members of which have been shown to cause cancer in animals -- kidney cancer in frogs, lymphoid cancer in chickens and rabbits, and lung cancer in sheep. A herpes virus causes Burkett's lymphoma in humans,,, This suggests that, if type 2 herpes simplex virus is found to cause cervical cancer, a vaccination cure can be developed.

It's not even talking the same thing.  HSV-1 and HSV-2 are two different beasties.  Not only that it talks of a vaccine for cervical cancer. Again no mention of Ebola or Ebola vaccine which wasnt discover or identified until 19.76

This OP is an outright lie of Jillian's salt rotted brain.  It has one goal, sell her book via JJ,  Do the JJ, she tells people, like it is going to protect them.
