Police arrested a pastor Tuesday after a member of his McAllen church
accused him of sexually assaulting a teenager for more than two years.
Elliot
James Wickboldt of McAllen is accused of having a sexual relationship
with a 16-year-old girl from July 2015 to Oct. 12, 2017, according to a
criminal complaint.
On multiple occasions, Wickboldt sexually
assaulted Jane-- a pseudonym assigned to the teen in the criminal
complaint--at an Edinburg home and at Awaken Church, according to the
criminal complaint.
